Flow ID Wins Global Telecoms Business Award for Customer Service Innovation

C&W Communications and UXP Systems recognized for pioneering Digital Identity as a Strategic Operator Service

UXP Systems, the leader in User Lifecycle Management for telecommunications operators, is pleased to announce today that they have been presented with the prestigious Telecoms Innovation Award for customer service innovation. The award, presented by Global Telecoms Business, honors the most innovative telecommunication achievements in the industry. UXP Systems, along with C&W Communications (C&W), were recognized for their innovation in bringing personalized digital service experiences to customers via the Flow ID platform, a fully digital identity developed for all Flow customers across the Caribbean.

The Flow ID platform allows C&W to move from an inefficient and cumbersome model of managing customer relationships, based on several device IDs and billing accounts to one ID system. In effect, it provides customers with a seamless personalized digital service experience with one digital ID for all of their services at Flow.
“By using UXP Systems’ MINT Digital Experience Engine, we were able to dramatically increase our portfolio of digital services, and create a single digital identity for customers with flexible login options”, said Carlo Alloni, C&W EVP and Chief Technology and Information Officer. Flow ID customers across the Caribbean are now able to enjoy simplified access to any of their existing services across the C&W service portfolio.

“We were pleased to exceed expectations for the project and see C&W’s digital services basket dramatically increased with all services seamlessly accessed via one ID,” said Jim MacDonald, VP Global Marketing at UXP Systems. ”This gives C&W the ability to bring new services to market rapidly while maintaining frictionless onboarding processes and market-leading user experiences across all services. It also advances their position to compete with OTT providers and allows them to keep transformation costs low by leveraging existing systems.”

The Global Telecoms Business Awards were presented to winners at a ceremony attended by leaders in the global telecom industry in London.
