NEW FLOW BRAND UNVEILED IN JAMAICA

A new telecommunications consumer brand ,Flow, was officially launched in Jamaica during ‘Skool Aid,’ a massive back-to-school event hosted by the company at Jam World, Portmore on Sunday ( August 30).

An impressive blue light show and pyrotechnics finale signaled the dawn of a new era in Jamaica’s telecommunications history. Executives of the company were joined by members of the public, popular artistes, brand ambassadors and other special guests for the momentous occasion as dazzling graphics and a refreshed new logo flashed on screen.

Earlier, Garry Sinclair, Managing Director of Flow Jamaica told the near 40,000 audience about the company’s new journey.

“Today we officially launch a new Flow brand and usher in an amazing telecommunications experience never before seen in this region. Our new brand represents the culmination of a month-long integration process of our former brands (LIME & Flow) and sees the company uniquely poised to deliver Jamaica’s first quad play experience which pulls together entertainment, broadband internet, fixed line and mobile services from the same supplier – a defining moment for the future of telecoms in Jamaica,” Mr. Sinclair said.

“This event also embodies the spirit and essence of our new brand which seeks to enable ‘real connections’ among our customers and our communities while empowering them to succeed through the innovations we provide,” Sinclair highlighted.

While there will be a transition period for the products and services of the former Flow and LIME brands, Mr. Sinclair indicated the company’s drive to transform the telecommunications landscape in Jamaica through network investments, improved customer experience and quad play.

Sinclair also pointed to a refreshed new look in several of the company’s retail outlets, which was revealed on Monday as customers were welcomed into the now blue-themed locations island-wide. The company has completed refurbishment work on 22 of its locations while upgrades continue on another 62 across the island.

A series of launch events culminated in the grand public unveil at Skool Aid.

With a renewed commitment to education, the company poured out assistance in the form back to school supplies, services and scholarships for thousands of needy students.
