C&W Networks At Canto: Future-Proofing Caribbean Region By Driving Industry Innovation With Network Certifications
Group receives MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 Certifications
C&W Networks, a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless Communications, (C&W), one of the largest full service communications and entertainment providers in the Caribbean and Latin America region, now part of Liberty Global (LiLAC Group), is pleased to announce that it has received the MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE2.0) industry standard certification for E-LINE, E-LAN, E-TREE and E-ACCESS services. The industry certifications represent a milestone for C&W Networks, further accelerating its ability to deliver a more dynamic and customized Ethernet portfolio of services to many more locations across the Caribbean and Latin America region. Also, the certifications make C&W’s carrier-grade fibre networks world-class and ready to meet the latest global carrier requirements, offering more scale and more reliable solutions to customers across the Caribbean and Latin American region.
C&W Networks passed a very rigorous testing process covering a full set of requirements including performance and bandwidth profiles. Compliance testing and certification was performed by independent MEF assessment and conformity body, Iometrix. The certifications allow C&W Networks to offer the highest standards of interoperable interconnection, management and performance.
